Afterthoughts and Photos

We found a new food while on this trip that we all loved.."Crab Fries".  Crab fries are just French fries that have Old Bay seasoning sprinkled on them in a generous dose...absolutely delicious!  My niece  Amanda told us to get them from the little shop that was right on the street where our condo was.  Teresa brought them back when she went out to get a bottle of wine (the liquor store was two steps away from the condo too...great location) and we were immediately addicted!  I don't have any pictures because they were gone too fast, but we will make them at home now for sure.

These are some random photos taken during our trip...some are elsewhere in the blog and others I found while finishing up the blog.  I have to say that my grandchildren are well traveled and I am very proud that they are well mannered, courteous, loving and compassionate young people!  I love taking them to new places.  Our next adventure is a cruise over Thanksgiving this year.

The Jersey Shore holds a charm that is strictly it's own and draws even the worse skeptic to it.  Snookie,  J Wow and the Situation did nothing to show what a beautiful place this is.  It brings back fond memories of childhood vacations spent here in South Jersey.....reality TV stayed to the beaches in the north near New York....thank heavens.
